Brian Muir

Brian Muir currently serves as an Index Options Trader Team Manager at IMC Trading in Chicago. Prior to IMC Trading, he spent one year as an Index Options Trader at Old Mission Capital and 10 years as a Derivatives Trader and Principal at MeadowHawk Capital in Chicago. He began his finance career as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Arlington, Virginia, and an analyst at AIG in New York.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Muir was a four-year letterwinner and served as team captain of the men’s wrestling team in 2003. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in educational policy studies. Originally from New Jersey, Muir had a decorated career at Toms River North High School, where he placed twice at the state tournament. He is also a member of the Jersey Shore Wrestling Hall of Fame.
