As Covid-19 continues to shape our new normal, we want to ensure that all of you at BTS realize that your health and safety is our number one priority. We are doing our part by consulting with USA Wrestling, Beat the Streets National and our partners at the PSAL/NYC DOE, as well as our Board Members that govern our BTS NYC organization. In addition, we are following guidelines set by Center for Disease Control, World Health Organization, and state and city government officials to maintain a safe environment for our staff and student-athletes.
As we look to the 2020-2021 Beat the Streets High School Academy and training center, we are preparing for all scenarios to support an in-person, virtual, or a hybrid model in which student-athletes can choose the scenario that they (and their families) are most comfortable with.
Please note that all workouts are voluntary and open to any male or female student-athlete in NYC. Prior to participation either virtual or in-person you must become a BTS Member. If you are currently not a member for the 2019-2020 year, you can register by clicking HERE. If you would like to attend in-person, please complete the Summer Registration form, by clicking HERE. If you are uncomfortable traveling or unable to travel, these workouts will be held also on zoom. More details on the zoom link can be found below in the Summer Program Schedule document.
*Note that these are currently NOT wrestling workouts, but co-ed cross training (strength, cardio, balance, agility and shadow wrestling techniques).
