BUILDING A WORKPLACE
THAT REFLECTS OUR CITY
Diversity fuels the spirit of Beat the Streets. We celebrate and find value in all experiences, ideas, and approaches. Our commitment to providing equal opportunity extends to all, regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation. We serve a multicultural community of student-athletes—we want to reflect that inside our walls.
OUR STAFF BY THE NUMBERS
People of Color
Beat the Streets is prioritizing the advancement of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by committing to the following actions:
Provide training to increase our staff's knowledge of DEI and its importance.
Increase the racial, ethnic, and gender diversity of our Board of Directors to more accurately reflect the community we serve.
Prioritize hiring program alumni and staff of color to ensure our staff reflects the community we serve.
Ensure programs are based in equity by continuing to include student-athletes and alumni in program design, planning, and implementation.
