Beat the Streets New York Wrestling's Carolina Lockard, Tristan Levin earn All-American honors at 2026 NHSCA

Lockard took third place for her second All-American honor, while Levin took seventh for his first top-eight finish at high school nationals.

Beat the Streets New York student-athletes continue to shine on the national stage as Carolina Lockard and Tristan Levin each earned All-American honors with a top eight finishes at the 2026 National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) tournament Sunday at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
Lockard, a Brooklyn Tech senior and member of the BTSNY Academy program, secured third place at 145 pounds in the girls division to earn her second consecutive All-American honor after placing fifth in 2025. Levin, a Tottenville senior, captured seventh place at 120 pounds in the senior boys division, marking his first All-America finish.
Entering the tournament unseeded despite last year's podium finish, Lockard put together an impressive run. She opened with two falls, followed by a 7-4 decision over the No. 3 seed in the Round of 16. After dropping a quarterfinal match by fall to the No. 6 seed, Lockard battled back through the consolation bracket with three consecutive falls to reach the medal round.
In a rematch of her Round of 16 bout, Lockard dominated with a 7-0 decision to secure third place. Her performance marks the second-highest finish in the girls division by a BTSNY student-athlete, trailing only Alessandra Elliott's runner-up finish in 2023.
Levin, seeded No. 8, advanced to the quarterfinals with a fall and a narrow 3-2 decision over the No. 9 seed. He fell 7-0 to eventual champion and top-seeded Dunia Sibomana in the quarterfinals, then split his next two consolation matches with a 6-4 win and a 4-1 loss. Levin rebounded in his final bout, earning a 4-1 decision to clinch seventh place.

Five additional BTSNY student-athletes recorded wins. Leona Gao (Brooklyn Tech) led the group with a 4-2 record. After dropping her opening match 6-0, Gao rallied with four straight wins - including three by fall - before run ended with an 8-3 loss.
Daniel Prus (James Madison) had three wins, while Isa Magomedov (Edward R. Murrow) and Davron Turgunboev (James Madison) each earned two victories. Siena Vega (Brooklyn Tech) had a win in the girls division.
Gray Fox Portella, representing the BTSNY Junior League program, also earned a win in the middle school division.
