Beat the Streets New York registration opens for 2023-24 season

Memberships are free of cost to all NYC student-athletes from elementary school to high school.

Registration is now open for New York City student-athletes to join Beat the Streets New York for the 2023-24 wrestling season.

Memberships are available free of cost to all NYC student-athletes from elementary school to high school. Memberships must be renewed annually for each school year and are a prerequisite to participating in any BTSNY academic and wrestling programs.

HOW TO REGISTER

  1. Register via the USA Wrestling website. (*Completing this sign-up process will register you for a BTSNY membership, not a USA Wrestling Membership.)

  2. At the end of registration, please reach out via email to Director of Programming Bob Seidel (bseidel@btsny.org) or Head Boys Coach Joe DeAngelo (jdeangelo@btsny.org).

  3. Our staff will get back to you with more details.

BTSNY Training Center practices will begin at a to-be-determined date. For updates on the Training Center schedule, visit btsny.org/training-center and follow BTSNY on social media.

Since being founded in 2005, Beat the Streets New York has pioneered a movement that now includes 150 individual wrestling programs, a youth league and the first girls high school league.

BTSNY works to develop the full human and athletic potential of the urban youth and strengthen the New York City wrestling culture. We aim to make a lifelong impact on student-athletes through the lessons learned on the wrestling mat -- discipline, perseverance, self-reliance, humility and a strong work ethic.
