The wrestlers will each make their second appearance in a Beat the Streets Annual Benefit event.

Four-time age-group World medalist Audrey Jimenez and three-time U20 World medalist Erin Golston will meet for the 50 kg women’s freestyle spot on Team USA at 2025 Final X on Saturday, June 14 at Prudential Center.

The Senior-level series between the two has been owned by Jimenez, who holds a 3-0 record against the veteran competitor Golston dating back to the 2023 U.S. Open semifinals. All three matches have resulted in technical falls, with Jimenez outscoring Golston by a combined 34-2 tally. This best-of-three series will be a rematch of the 2025 U.S. Open finals, won by Jimenez, 11-0.

Jimenez has consistently performed on the international stage. She has appeared in five age-group World Championships—two U17 teams, two U20 teams and a U23 team—and collected three silver medals, plus a bronze medal. She is a two-time Senior Pan American medalist and the reigning champion. Jimenez is still U20 eligible and already qualified for this year’s U20 World Team.

Domestically, Jimenez has been in the No. 2 slot in this weight class the past couple of years behind 2024 Olympic champion Sarah Hildebrandt. She finished second to Hildebrandt at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials and 2023 Final X. With Hildebrandt retired, the path is clear for Jimenez to command the weight. Jimenez qualified for Final X by winning the 2025 U.S. Open in Las Vegas, Nev.

Golston has been a perennial Senior-level contender going back a decade plus. She has collected 16 international medals on the Senior scene since 2013, which was also the year she grabbed a third-straight medal at the U20 World Championships. Most recently, Golston earned a bronze medal at the Muhamet Malo Ranking Series tournament in Albania.

Golston was third at last year’s U.S. Olympic Team Trials behind Hildebrandt and Jimenez. She earned her place in Final X by winning the Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament in Louisville, Ky.

What’s at stake?

Final X will determine the 2025 U.S. World Team in two international disciplines—men’s freestyle and women’s freestyle. In total, 20 weight classes will be contested, 10 in each discipline. The top two U.S. athletes in each weight classes will wrestle a best-of-three series at Final X to determine the U.S. representative at the 2025 Senior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

Both Jimenez and Golston have competed at a Final X event. Jimenez went 0-2 against Hildebrandt in the 50 kg women’s freestyle series in 2023. Golston won a true-third match over two-time World medalist Alyssa Lampe the same year.
