Beat the Streets New York coach Beau Bartlett earns U.S. Senior National Team spot at 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management

Beau Bartlett claimed the No. 3 spot at 65 kg in men's freestyle for Team USA.

NEWARK, N.J. – Beat the Streets New York coach Beau Bartlett made the U.S. Senior National Team at 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management, on Friday at Prudential Center.

Bartlett, who trains at the New York City Regional Training Center, claimed the No. 3 spot at 65 kg in men's freestyle in a true-third bout by receiving a forfeit from Joey McKenna due to injury.

True-third matches determine the No. 3 athlete on the U.S. National Team for the 2026-27 season. These matches are specifically held in weight classes where the second - and third-place finishers from the last Final X qualifying event — either the U.S. Open or Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament —did not wrestle against one another in said qualifying event. McKenna and Bartlett took second and third, respectively, at the U.S. Open, but did not wrestle each other.

Bartlett is among 10 athletes to earn a U.S. National Team spot - six in men's freestyle and four in women's freestyle - by winning a true-third match. The winner of each true-third match is eligible for U.S. National Team support, including funding, training, and competition opportunities.
