Brian Muir joins Beat the Streets New York Wrestling Board of Directors

The New Jersey native was a four-year letterwinner at the University of Virginia and a two-time state high school medalist.

Beat the Streets Wrestling, Inc. is proud to announce Brian Muir as the newest member of its Board of Directors.
Muir currently serves as an Index Options Trader Team Manager at IMC Trading in Chicago. Prior to IMC Trading, he spent one year as an Index Options Trader at Old Mission Capital and 10 years as a Derivatives Trader and Principal at MeadowHawk Capital in Chicago. He began his finance career as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Arlington, Virginia, and an analyst at AIG in New York.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Muir was a four-year letterwinner and served as team captain of the men’s wrestling team in 2003. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in educational policy studies. Originally from New Jersey, Muir had a decorated career at Toms River North High School, where he placed twice at the state tournament. He is also a member of the Jersey Shore Wrestling Hall of Fame.
"Wrestling has had a lasting impact on my life, instilling a disciplined framework I rely on both professionally and personally, Muir said. "Beat the Streets extends those benefits to others in need, and I’m excited to help grow its impact as a Board member."
The BTS Board of Directors is dedicated to supporting the organization’s operations and programs, which provide opportunities – on and off the wrestling mat – for urban youth across New York City’s five boroughs.
