The Brooklyn native will compete at the U23 World Championships in October in Las Vegas.

Beat the Streets New York alumnus Adrian Artsisheuskiy earned a spot on the 2026 U23 U.S. World Team in Greco-Roman after capturing his second consecutive U23 national championship at 82 kilograms last week at the 2026 U23 Nationals in Geneva, Ohio.
Artsisheuskiy opened the tournament with technical falls of 11-2 in 2:59 and 9-0 in 1:39, along with a 7-3 decision, to advance to the best-of-three championship series. He continued his dominant performance in the finals against Caden Young, securing the title with a pair of technical falls, 8-0 in 28 seconds and 9-0 in 1:32.
With the victory, Artsisheuskiy secured his place on Team USA and will represent the U.S. at this year's U23 Pan American Championships, June 11-14 in Lima, Peru, and U23 World Championships, October 12-18 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Brooklyn native is the defending U23 Pan American champion after winning gold at last year's event.
This marks his second age-level World Team berth after he took seventh place at the 2022 U20 World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Earlier this spring, Artsisheuskiy claimed third place at 82 kg in the Greco-Roman Senior division at the 2026 U.S. Open Championships in Las Vegas.
Artsisheuskiy's wrestling journey started in the Beat the Streets Junior League, where he competed for Elite Wrestling Academy in Brooklyn. The BTS Junior League is New York City's only elementary and middle school wrestling program, offering boys and girls opportunities to learn the sport's fundamentals and compete in organized events. He continued his involvement with BTS in high school, participating in the Training Center wrestling practices.
Artsisheuskiy's continued success reflects the positive impact of BTS in empowering New York City youth, from youth participation through elite-level competition.
