Oumar Tounkara of Drexel University secured a win against Sulayman Bah, a NCAA Division 1 Championships qualifier from Columbia University.

NEWARK, N.J. – Oumar Tounkara defeated Sulayman Bah in the first-ever Beat the Streets New York alumni showcase between sessions at 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management, alongside the Beat the Streets New York Annual Benefit.
In a freestyle battle between NCAA Division 1 athletes from The Bronx, Tounkara came out on top with a 14-11 win in a thrilling high-scoring affair. It is a major victory for the Drexel University sophomore Tounkara to outlast Bah, who was a NCAA D1 Championships qualifier this past season as a junior for Columbia University.
After a tight battle in the New York state folkstyle semifinals, Brennan Sprague and Tristan Levin, both of Staten Island, grappled in a freestyle bout. Sprague reigned once again with a 16-5 technical fall to improve to 3-0 in the rivalry.
In women’s freestyle, Brooklyn natives Nicole Kremyanskiy and Carolina Lockard earned victories. In her BTSNY Benefit debut, Kremyanskiy secured a fall in 1:56 against Alexandra Shuster of Staten Island in bout between two New York City Public Schools Athletic League City champions. With the win, Kremyanskiy also avenged a 2023 loss in the PSAL City Championships semifinals to Shuster - who will continue her wrestling career at New Jersey City University.
Lockard claimed her second-straight fall in a BTSNY Benefit match with a pin in 2:42 against Kishara Tulloch of Uniondale, N.Y.
Following the matches, Lockard and Levin received the prestigious Lady Liberty and Atlas Awards, respectively, to honor their high school achievements. Both athletes earned four PSAL city championships, while Levin also earned two folkstyle state medals. The pair will continue their wrestling careers at the NCAA level, with Lockard at Lehigh University and Levin heading to Binghamton University.
