The program will run from December to March for registered BTS student-athletes.

Beat the Streets will host a wrestling program for kindergarten through eighth-grade student-athletes at Trinity School, starting Saturday, Dec. 2.

The program is open to K-8 boys and girls who are registered student-athletes with BTS. To register a K-8 student-athlete, visit btsny.org/register.

The program will be Dec. 2 and 16 then resume in January with practices every Saturday until Feb. 10. Practices will return for the first three Saturdays in March (March 2, 9 and 16). Practices run from 10-11 a.m.

For more information on the wrestling program, email coaches Jon Beck (jonnbeck@aol.com) and Bronson Lingamfelter (wrestlingbronson@gmail.com).

Since being founded in 2005, Beat the Streets has pioneered a movement that now includes 150 individual wrestling programs, a youth league and the first girls high school league.

BTS works to develop the full human and athletic potential of the urban youth and strengthen the NYC wrestling culture. We aim to make a lifelong impact on student-athletes through the lessons learned on the wrestling mat -- discipline, perseverance, self-reliance, humility and a strong work ethic.
