Beat the Streets New York Academy applications open for 2022-23 season

The application process is open until Oct. 17 for New York City high school boys and girls student-athletes.

Beat the Streets New York is now accepting applications for its High School Academy program for the 2022-23 season.


The application-only program is open to New York City high school boys and girls student-athletes, who want to excel on the wrestling mat as well as in the classroom and community.


The Academy will have 10 workshops on leadership spread throughout the school year. Each Academy Day will have a free lunch, enrichment session on leadership skills, small group activities and discussions and guest speakers. There will also be a wrestling practice led by a guest clinician, who had success at the collegiate and/or international level.


HOW TO APPLY

  2. Email of recommendation from high school coach

  3. Email of recommendation from parent or guardian

  4. Online resume

Since being founded in 2005, Beat the Streets New York has pioneered a movement that now includes 150 individual wrestling programs, a youth league and the first girls high school league.
