Beat the Streets New York Junior League Academy applications open for 2023

The application process is open until Dec. 23 for New York City middle school boys and girls student-athletes.

Beat the Streets New York is now accepting applications for its Junior League Academy program for 2023.


The application-only program is open to New York City middle school boys and girls student-athletes, who want to excel on the wrestling mat as well as in the classroom and community.


The Academy will have seven workshops on positive habits and social justice spread throughout the second semester of the school year. Each Academy Day will have a free lunch, enrichment session on positive habits, small group activities, guest speakers on social justice and wrestling practice.


HOW TO APPLY

  1. Fill out and submit the application form (here)

  2. Email of recommendation from middle school coach

  3. Email of recommendation from parent or guardian

Since being founded in 2005, Beat the Streets New York has pioneered a movement that now includes 150 individual wrestling programs, a youth league and the first girls high school league.
