Winchester will make her second Beat the Streets Annual Benefit appearance, while Nette will make her debut.

Two established veterans and past U.S. World Team members — Abigail Nette and Jacarra Winchester — will meet for the Team USA spot at 59 kg in the women’s freestyle division at 2025 Final X on Saturday, June 14 at Prudential Center.
The pair have met twice on the Senior level, with Winchester leading the series two matches to none. Winchester took a 6-4 decision over Nette in the quarterfinals of the 2023 U.S. Senior Nationals and Olympic Trials Qualifier. She backed it up with an 11-0 technical fall in the semifinals of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Neither match came at 59 kg, which adds some complexity to this best-of-three series in Newark, New Jersey.
Both Nette and Winchester have represented Team USA at the highest levels. Winchester competed at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, and is a five-time U.S. World Team member. Nette earned the 59 kg spot on the U.S. World Team in 2022 and was runner-up at the 2024 Military World Championships.
Winchester is the reigning World Team member at this weight class. Before moving up to 59 kg after last year’s Olympic Trials, she was a mainstay at 55 kg, scoring a World title in 2019 and a World silver medal in 2023. She was fifth at the Tokyo Olympics at 53 kg and Olympic Trials runner-up at 57 kg in 2024.
Both have logged solid international results so far this year. Winchester won the Zagreb Open Ranking Series event down at 57 kg. Nette was a silver medalist at the Senior Pan American Championships at 59 kg.
At the 2025 U.S. Open held in April in Las Vegas, Nev., Nette emerged with a first-place finish at 59 kg, securing her spot at Final X. Winchester wrestled her way to the 57 kg finals in Las Vegas before forfeiting out. She returned to 59 kg for the Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament earlier this month in Louisville, Ky., cruising to the gold medal and second Final X slot in this weight class.
What’s at stake?
Final X will determine the 2025 U.S. World Team in two international disciplines—men’s freestyle and women’s freestyle. In total, 20 weight classes will be contested, 10 in each discipline. The top two U.S. athletes in each weight classes will wrestle a best-of-three series at Final X to determine the U.S. representative at the 2025 Senior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.
Winchester has taken the Final X stage on four occasions. She is 4-0 in best-of-three series dating back to 2018. Winchester owns Final X series wins over Becka Leathers in 2018, Dom Parrish in 2019, Jenna Burkert in 2022 and Alisha Howk in 2023. Nette holds a Final X series win over Lexie Basham, two matches to none, from 2022 in Stillwater, Okla.
