Beat the Streets kicks off 2023 year-end campaign

Help BTS make a lifelong impact on the lives of underserved New York City boys and girls through the sport of wrestling.

Beat the Streets Wrestling 2023 Year-End Campaign

Today is Giving Tuesday!

Today, we are celebrating the many successes Beat the Streets achieved this year by officially kicking off our 2023 year-end campaign. This past year has proven the underserved New York City students in our programs and their dedicated coaches are raising the bar, and I am excited to share some examples of what they have achieved with BTS on our year-end campaign site.

In this campaign, you’ll meet high schoolers Christian Solano and Marielys Lugo. Christian is looking to make history this season as the first NYC wrestler to place at the New York state tournament three times with a state title victory. Marielys is striving to climb to the top of the podium after taking second at the city championships this past spring. Stay tuned for additional interviews with these exceptional student-athletes.

You’ll also be able to see how our Academy enrichment program is helping students reach their full potential on and off the wrestling mat. I hope you will help us celebrate another successful year by donating to BTS today, so we can continue impacting these students in the New Year and beyond.

How to show your support for Beat the Streets' year-end campaign!

Donate: Make a difference on the lives of NYC students in BTS programs by giving a tax-deductible gift today to our year-end campaign.

Spread the word: Share our message and the year-end campaign with your friends, family, colleagues and network. Follow us on social media to stay updated on the campaign.

Create a fundraising page: Make it a team effort to raise funds for BTS with a personalized fundraising page. Be sure to share your fundraising page on social media and tag us too!

Become a matching sponsor: Double your impact today by becoming a matching sponsor. For more information, email BTS Director of Development Debbie Linehan at dlinehan@btsny.org.

Thank you, as always, for your support! We would not be able to impact 2,500 NYC student-athletes without you.
