Luke Lilledahl vs. Spencer Lee and Adaugo Nwachukwu vs. Macey Kilty U.S. Open rematches set for co-main events.

The match order for 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management, has been set ahead of Friday night’s event at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Serving as the main events are the men’s freestyle 86 kg matchup between Zahid Valencia and Kyle Dake and the women’s freestyle 57 kg series featuring Helen Maroulis and Amanda Martinez.
Both contests are rematches from 2025 Final X, also held at Prudential Center, and were pivotal moments for the series winners, who both went on to win the World Championships.
Valencia swept the series against Dake last June, 5-3 and 4-1. Valencia comes into Final X this year as the reigning World champion and is now a two-time World medalist. Dake is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist and four-time World champion.
Maroulis pinned Martinez in both bouts to complete the series sweep for the 2025 Senior World Team spot. Maroulis was the first Olympic champion in U.S. women’s wrestling history, is a three-time Olympic medalist, four-time World champion and eight-time World medalist. Martinez represented the U.S. at the 2021 U23 World Championships and is coming off a gold-medal performance at the Senior Pan American Championships last month.
Final X will feature two mats on the arena floor. Men’s freestyle will run on Mat A, located on the south end of the arena in front of sections 13 and 14. Women’s freestyle will run on Mat B, located on the north end of the arena in front of sections 2 and 3.
The co-main events feature a pair of U.S. Open finals rematches. On the men’s freestyle side, three-time age-group World champion and U.S. Open champion Luke Lilledahl faces 2024 Olympic silver medalist and returning World Team member Spencer Lee at 57 kg. In women’s freestyle, 2025 World Team members go head-to-head at 62 kg with age-group World medalist and U.S. Open champion Adaugo Nwachukwu battling two-time World medalist Macey Kilty.
A start-to-finish bout order for each style’s best-of-three series can be found below. Additionally, the bout order of the U.S. National Team’s true-third matches is listed below.
Of note, the men’s freestyle 65 kg series between Real Woods and Bo Bassett, along with the women’s freestyle 68 kg series between Kennedy Blades and Isabella Mir, and the 76 kg series featuring Kylie Welker and Dymond Guilford, have all been delayed and will not be wrestled in Newark.
The 92 kg men’s freestyle series between Trent Hidlay and Michael Macchiavello was contested on Saturday, June 13. Hidlay won the series two matches to none, to earn the U.S. Senior World Team spot.
2024 Olympic champion and two-time World champion Amit Elor will receive a forfeit from 2025 World Team member and U.S. Open champion Alexandria Glaude at 72 kg in women’s freestyle due to injury.
What’s at stake at Final X?
Final X will determine the 2026 U.S. Senior World Team in two-of-three international disciplines — men’s freestyle and women’s freestyle. In total, 20 weight classes will be contested, 10 in each discipline. The top two U.S. athletes in each weight class will wrestle a best-of-three series at Final X to determine the U.S. representative for the 2026 Senior World Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan.
